He helps her up and together they waddle back to the sofa. 

He hands her a box of tissues from the coffee table. Layla just slumps into the cushions. Jae-min takes a tissue and gently wipes blood off her face.

He grabs a small dispenser clip from the table, pushes the button. A PILL is released.

JAE-MIN
Here.

LAYLA
I can't.

JAE-MIN
You're burning up.

LAYLA
I've got ice packs.

Jae-min looks at her concerned - A rash crawls up her throat like ivy. 

LAYLA
Water please.

Jae-min hands her a glass of water AND the pill. 

She pushes the pill away.

He checks the time.

JAE-MIN
The ship crashed four minutes ago. We've half an hour to stabilize you, before the toxins spread here.

LAYLA
I just bled. I'm worried the meds will harm the baby.

Jae-min gets up, brings over the cardboard box he left in the kitchen.

JAE-MIN
No meds. More toxins. Plan-B then.

LAYLA
Tell me that's not what I think it is.

He VERY CAREFULLY reaches inside to reveal a strange implement, jerry-rigged with glowing, yellow alien attachments.

LAYLA
What the fuck.
